Excellent dishes, the duck leg confit delicious as gratin dauphinois and vegetables, beautiful presentation.

The food is excellent, service is excellent, highly recomend.

Delicious food, variety of cocktails, and an extensive wine list in a cozy setting. Entrees included cod, salmon, a pasta dish,bison, duck. Appetizers range from crab cakes, duck, fondue etc. The people who work there are pleasant. The crowd was a mix of native English and French speakers. Very nice.

Good. Good food that is simple but well done without wanting to be pretentious. The value for money is very acceptable and the reception of quality.

We were disappointed by this restaurant which has such a good reputation on the internet and Tripadvisor! It is indicated seafood restaurant ... 3 courses including 2 fish. For the entree I took scallops with a sauce, I had a scallop..10 $ 😮 yes it was well cooked, the sauce was pretty good and the presentation was beautiful, but still! Then I took linguine pesto, I had linguine with snail butter because it did not taste at all pesto. For the other people accompanying me, they did not find anything special at this restaurant.The server was a little mixed despite the few people.They have seats for children but plan to occupy them.

Good table with choice of refined and varied dishes with many assortments of wines. Impeccable service and good advice. Good value for money.

We had the best seafood dinner in a long time. The service was very good. I had a seafood dish with a citrus sauce on basmati rice and it was melt in your mouth delicious! My husband had the cod and loved it. We had an amazing appetizer " Assorted sea food from the St. Lawrence" which we both loved. The entrees were paired with a wine which I enjoyed. I had a perfect creme brule for dessert. We would recommend this restaurant to everyone. Prices were quite reasonable.

Excellent meal and warm atmosphere even during COVID (we come to forget). We have done everything to create a perfect meal with 3 children: 2 tables d'hôte divided very generously into three. We met all the staff, excellent service. The dishes are tasty: deer tataki, bison flank steak, seafood shell. Generosity, freshness and very reasonable price considering the quality. The whole family keeps wonderful memories!

Years ago, it must have been around 1995, I visited Québec with friends, and one of our stops was Tadoussac. We wanted to see the whales, and on the way to the harbor we passed this colorful restaurant, and we decided to have dinner here later that day.When we returned in the evening we ordered our dinner, and from then on we got surprise after surprise.From the outside the restaurant looked a bit like a pancake restaurant in our country, so we were totally knocked of our chairs by the quality of every dish we had.I have no idea any more what exactly we ate, but everything was so formidable that I still remember our superb evening. I just remember the chocolate waffle that accompanied the desert.The wine we had may have contributed to the pleasure we had, it certainly didn't blur our taste.I am aware this review comes a bit late, but I wanted to post it anyway.Thank you, people of La Bolée!

We were 4 and followed the recommendations of the guide of the backpacker. We were not disappointed . The welcome is attentive and the quality of the dishes is excellent. This is changing the many so-called fast food restaurants.I take the opportunity to file this notice to apologize for my mistake during the payment. Concerned about the calculation of the 15%, I was wrong in the amount paid. I left $ 106 (the amount paid the day before at another restaurant) instead of the $ 206 expected. The mistake was quickly detected by the restaurant.I am particularly confused to be mistaken, especially since the boss was kind enough to reveal his recipe for crème brûlée (recipe very different from the European recipe).Thank you to the entire team and accept my apologies for my mistake.

Best restaurant in Tadoussac! Amazing service awesome homemade meals

A very good restaurant. The friendly staff could recommend two delicious local dishes with matching wines. We had the snow crab and the bison steak which were very well prepared.

While traveling, I'm often amazed with the quality level of restaurants stated to be amazing. Most of the times, they're not. This is one of the exceptions though!Not the most impressive interior (and don't get me started about the ferry tale exterior), but you will completely forget the outside when meals are being presented, one awesome plate after the other.Given the chance to come back to Tadoussac I wouldn't think twice about where to dine...

We stayed in the low season in Tadoussac and ate at La Bolee. We were next to another couple the only guests. The menu has a small selection of dishes. We ate the specialties of the house (Schneekrabe and bison steak) with the respective wine recommendation. It tasted very delicious. There was international music played, which we liked very much (heard a Croatian song so far away, I had to resist with;) We would come here again.

We came a year ago very good restaurant we wanted to have a good experience again, but quite the opposite. The waiter was really not involved frankly. Service error and not at all interested in our experience I will not return to this restaurant in + the restaurant was really poorly cleaned. Pity

The food is excellent, but the service could have been better. We asked for a table where we would be cool. We were put near the air conditioning. But as soon as another couple of customers arrived, they cut him off. We felt we were not important enough customers. This is often the problem with restaurants that think they are upscale. They also give me the impression of being racist. A black couple came in, they asked for the terrace and they refused them access even though there was plenty of free space. They stored them in a separate space.

La Bolée is an icon of the restoration at Tadoussac; after going there a few times in the last 15 years (from Montreal) it does not change: the atmosphere is superb (try a table in the solarium!) very friendly staff and excellent food with a very good value for money competitive.

Super address !!! The reputation is not usurped at all !!! Quality of the products, beauty of the plates and friendly and smiling service !!! To discover absolutely during a passage in this beautiful village of Tadoussac !!!

A bit pricy for what you get

Honeymoon dinner with my wifeAfter looking at the menu of almost all restaurants around, we chose the Bolée since there were dishes at all prices, but especially because the dining room is BEAUTIFUL !!I loved:-The buffalo bib was very good!-The entrance of melting brie too.-The cocktails at $ 6.95!-The fact that the menu offers a wine by the glass for each dish-The dining room very well decorated-The martini of AndréI least liked:-To 20:45 there is no entry of scallops or scallops-My wife took the chicken teriyaki and had exactly the same accompaniment as me (same sauce, same vegetable, same salad)-Compact fluorescent lighting in the veranda section- I had to ask André what was the wine he served me (he only answered the grape variety)-Just 4 mini croutons with melting brie-The rigodon musicPositive experience despite some aspects. Good place to live a little gastronomy without leaving his shirt. Enjoy your meal!!

Excellent and outstanding....

We went few days ago. We were celebrating our anniversary and stumbled upon this restaurant based on google maps reviews. It did not disappoint. Food was delicious. Appetizers were very reasonably priced, duck pate and crab cakes were amazing. My husband had the bison steak cooked rare, which was also amazing. We would totally go back to this restaurant.
